Meerkats

For the last few days I haven't really wanted to go on fieldwork this summer. I don't get answers to my e-mails with the millions of questions I have about my trip, I have no idea where I am going to stay or when I am going to go, and May is getting uncomfortably close. No, the last few days I haven't really wanted to hear the word "Namibia" mentioned at all.

But today, my package from Amazon came, including a travel guide to Namibia! And what do I see on the cover? Nothing else than my alltime favorite animal - the Meerkats!

I choose to take this as a sign that it'll be a good summer in Namibia after all!

Meerkats!

Oh, I remember the good old days when we still had time to just hang around at your appartement and watch Animal Planet.. =)

I know the feeling! Not the meerkats, but the stress-provoking and panic-related feeling of not even knowing where to begin to think about all the fieldwork things that should have been thought about and figured out at least a month ago... you are not alone! And so the days tragically disappears between my hands with an annoyingly high speed...

Good to hear that I'm not alone.. :) The fieldwork has just seemed so distant for a long time, and then suddenly I hear that May is just a few days away! Vel, alt ordner seg for snille jenter har jeg hørt. Let's cross our fingers for that!
